Atlantis on Floppies

I downloaded Atlantis Ocean Mind onto floppy disks, thinking that I could use it on my desk-top and also on a rather elderly lap-top which is used for occasional field-work. &nbsp;No problems with the desk-top running Windows 98, but the program refuses to install on the lap-top which has Dos 6.22/Win 3.1. &nbsp;Is there any way round this, or must I abandon the idea of using Atlantis on the lap-top?<br>Any suggestions gratefully received.

AW a quick check of the FAQs at the homepage brought up this<br><br>Do you have versions of Atlantis for Windows 3.x, Linux, BeOS, FreeBSD?<br><br>The basic platform of Atlantis is Win32 (Windows 95/98/NT/2000).<br><br>No other platforms are yet supported. But we do not rule out that Atlantis will work under Linux, BeOS, and FreeBSD in the future.<br><br>Regrettably Windows 3.x will not be supported at all.<br>Sorry.<br><br> :'(

There is a Win32 layer available for Windows 3.11!

I used it myself many years ago.

Well, it a pity but there will be no Atlantis for Win 3.11. But have a look at a yahoo! group named Textor. If you need a cute Wordprocessor for Win 3.11 you could download Textor 6.0 there. Of course it is not like Atlantis - it is even from 1991.
