This has puzzled me for quiet a while. Often I want to left-indent a paragraph 1 cm. Pressing CTRL/M however, always left-indents 0.64cm.
Is there a way I can make left-indent default to 1 cm?

I would create and apply a dedicated style ("Indent 1cm"?)
That style would have all the properties of the Normal style, but would also have a specific 1cm left and right indent.
