Find & Replace highlight locations on window

Post by Alan »

When I use the Find & Replace dialog box and click on Replace repeatedly the highlighted find result ends up in the middle of the window vertically, this works very well for me as I can repeatedly hit the Enter key in long documents I am editing. I have F3 as Find Next and F4 as Replace Next. With the Find & Replace dialog box closed an using these two buttons the highlighted Find result always ends up at the bottom of the window as I go through a long document. This is a problem for me as I have progressive lenses for reading small print in the bottom part of the lenses and have to turn my head down to read from the bottom of the screen. Is there a way I can have the highlight on the next found text string be in the middle or upper part of the window when using the F3 & F4 buttons as I have them setup on my keyboard?

You can leave the "Find/Replace" dialog open but move it to a screen location where it would not obscure the document text.

You can also reduce the height of the Atlantis window.
