PDF copied text - delete line/ para breaks

Post by Shan »

Is there a quick way to batch delete the line endings often resulting from copying a PDF file text?
I get awfully tired of 1,000s of Deletes! line by line.

I have tried Replace / Add Special Symbol
trying both Paragraph End Mark Line break in the top box;
but no effect.

Also tried entering one space in the bottom box, no difference. (Usually leaving this 2nd box untouched empty is enough.)

Thank you.

If you want to merge a number of paragraphs into one single paragraph, Atlantis has a command for this, i.e. “Join Paragraphs”. The hot key is “Ctrl+Shift+U”. There is a dedicated toolbar button:

Simply select the paragraphs to join, and press “Ctrl+Shift+U”, or click the above button.
