Hi,

please, how come that I cannot change the properties of all fields?

Is your help version right 2.0.2.0?

What I can see while right clicking the date field is above the red line, what I can see in your help is also below the red line, the lacking part in my case.

Oh, I can see that I have inserted the date only, not the date field indeed.
Which is to do through the menu Field in Insert.
Initially, I thought that any date will automatically be inserted as 'field'.
It was a mistake!
Sorry!

If you right-click what you believe to be a field, and the pop-up menu does not include field-related commands, it can only mean that you right-clicked on a field that was converted to pure text, and does not behave as a field any longer. Or that you entered the date as pure text directly yourself.
Now if you click “Insert | Date” or “Insert | Time” (or press the corresponding hot key, Shift+Al+D, and Shift+Alt+T, respectively), Atlantis automatically inserts the default date or time formats as fields.
You can also use the “Insert | Date &Time…” dialog to specify a different date or time format. The chosen format can then be made the new default.
Alternatively, you can use the “Insert | Field…” dialog to insert the current date and time with any suitable format.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert
