Return forces a list format

Have just installed my latest copy of Atlantis on my new laptop.
As always a great joy.

It acts oddly on pressing Return though. It keeps acting like I'm making a list which I then have to undo.

Help!

If you press “Enter” at the end of a paragraph that is itself a list item, the paragraph that you create by pressing “Enter” is automatically included in the current list.
If you don’t want to create a new list item, press “Enter” twice. The new paragraph won’t be included in the list.

Robert I don't understand. I don't use lists at all.
Normally when I press ENTER it just moves me to a new line.

Thankfully cross fingers it has fixed itself.
