Hi, this is my first posting here after ten years of happily using Atlantis.
Each year around now, I revise and print a five-page document that I originated years ago. It contains about 15 phrases in bold and italic. This time these phrases are printing out in an exaggerated form of Superscript.
The document looks fine in Preview. I'm using the latest version of Atlantis and a cheap (but reliable) HP printer.
I've tried undoing and reapplying the bold and italic, with mixed results. Re-typing the entire line seems to work, as does including bold and italic in a new document.
Obviously not the greatest problem and it won't take me long to re-type 15 lines, but a minor annoyance if it recurs or happens in other documents.
Any ideas?
(I've tried searching the Forum and the Net for suggestions, but with no luck.)

Unwanted superscript with bold and italic type
Hi Moonraker,
It is difficult to say anything definite without a sample to examine and test. Maybe your document just got corrupted. Or you might have a new computer and the font used by these phrases is missing. Are there any weird values in the Font and/or Paragraph Format dialogs associated with these phrases?
If re-typing the entire line seems to work, you could save yourself a lot of hassle if you simply opened that problem document, pressed “Ctr+A”, “Ctrl+N”, then “Ctrl+V”, and finally saved the new document under a new name. This new document might print normally.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert

Thanks for that. In fact I did get a new PC last January, after the last time I had updated and printed the file on which I was working this morning. But after I'd posted my query here, I realised that way back I had reduced the size of the margins, notably the top one. I reverted to the default settings and then the document printed off satisfactorily.
