can't change load/save location

I am using CJ's easy as pie instructions for Atlantis. She says to create a location for saving documents by going to tools/options/locate save
I get there but it won't let me change what's already in there
How do I do this?

Don't try to enter a path manually.
Use the "Browse" button to the right of the box below "Suggest saving documents to:"
