Is there any option to generate a full list of all currently opened documents/files (better with paths). The ideal would be the plain text output or at least some Atlantis Word own binary format.
(Something like thous tens of FireFox, Chrome etc browsers extensions which the functionality to "Save all opened tabs to internet shortcuts" or "Bookmark all opened pages" etc.)
I need it to open all those documents in the second instance of Atlantis Word.
Or at least any internal list, which a user can save as a screenshot (surely it would be much less convenient, than text output).
Yes, there is a main menu command [Window] and [Window] => [Other...], but it does not do the job, because they:
1) do not display files paths;
2) do not display even complete names of those files with name length over 56-58 symbols (the most of mys files have much longer names);
3) it is not possible to export this list in text output (although a user can at least make a screenshot).
Thanks!
display and export a full list of all opened files/docs
Hi Leoppoldus,
Here is how you can go about this.
1. Open all the desired documents in the first instance of Atlantis.
2. Click “File | Document Project > New”.
3. Give this Document Project any suitable name. Save it.
4. Click “File | Document Project > Close”.
5. Switch to or open a second instance of Atlantis.
6. In this second instance of Atlantis, click “File | Document Project > Open". This will open all the files included in the Document Project.
Note that the Atlantis Document Project files have the “.adpr” extension. You can open these “.adpr” files in any pure text editor, and copy the file path names that they contain.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert

Thank you very much, Robert! This is exactly this functionality what I requested for.
However I got now some additional wishes.
1) It seems, that I need to save and close all opened documents to get the new project saved into the file. Is there any option to avoid it?
2) Is there is option to include only some of the currently opened documents in the new project?
Something like the option to select multiple documents in the window [Window] => [Other...] and include in the project only selected documents.
3) And on the contrary, is it possible to select, that I need just now only several of the documents included in some AAA-project and others will not be opened?
Thanks!

When you close an Atlantis Document Project, all the documents that are currently open are automatically saved as belonging to that Project. There is no option to include only part of the open documents, except by first closing the documents which you don’t want to be part of the Project.
If you don’t want to close a Document Project, and still save it as a Document Project, click “File | Document Project > Save”, or “File | Document Project > Save As”, if you want to save it under a different name or into a different folder.
Now you might want to create a new Document Project which would include only some of the documents that are part of an existing Document Project:
1. Click “File | Document Project > Open”, and choose the target Document Project. Open it.
2. Click “File | Document Project > Save As”, and create a new Document Project with a different name. Use any distinctive name.
3. Close the currently open documents that you don’t want to be part of the newly-created Document Project.
4. Click “File | Document Project > Save”.
5. When you have finished working with that reduced Document Project, click “File | Document Project > Close” as usual.
5. In the future, open either of the two Document Projects, depending on which you want to work with.
Note that you could also use the Atlantis “Favorites” feature for the same purpose.
1. Click “File | Favorites > Add to Favorites” to add the currently active document to the list of your Atlantis Favorites.
2. After that, you can open any of these Favorites using the “File | Favorites” drop-down menu.
At times, you might want to open several of your Atlantis Favorites together. Here is how to go about this.
1. Open your File Manager.
2. Navigate to this folder: “C:\Users\<User Name>\Documents\Atlantis\Favorites\”
3. Select the documents of interest.
4. Use drag & drop or the “Open With” command from the right-click context menu to open all the selected documents (i.e. the selected Atlantis Favorites) in Atlantis.

Thank you again. now I start seeing these options, what I have used enough till today. Well, this subject is covered with you explanations, thanks!
But now I wish to use the occasion to ask for a small, but essential interface improvement.
As I've already mentioned in my first post, there is a problem, that [Window] => [Other...] is very small and is not re-sizable neither in height nor in width dimension, so it displays neither full list of opened files at once (if they are more than 12) nor files complete names (if they are longer than 60 symbols). I don't even tell anything about showing full names (path + name).
I suggest, that make this window re-sizable will not demand a lot of coding work.
(Similar issue wit the limited the width of the files list in the main menu File => Recent documents... or the toolbar button [Open document] drop-down menu, but there it is not as big headache as in the modal window [Window] => [Other...].)
P.S.
BTW, there is a small bug, that the main menu command [Window] => [Other...] has no an accelerator key for easy access from the keyboard.
