2 versions of Atlantis crash

1.6.5 started freezing when ever I went to edit documents.
Upgraded to 1.6.6 and same thing happened.
Uninstalled Atlantis, re installed 1.6.6 and same thing.

Could you please download and install the latest 1.6.6.1 a1 beta version:

http://www.AtlantisWordProcessor.com/en/beta/atlantis16en.exe

And run the new “Tools | “Factory” Settings…” command:



In the “Factory” Settings dialog, click “Launch a test copy of Atlantis with the “factory” settings”:



Are you still getting crashes using that test copy of Atlantis?

a2 is what got downloaded using the site referenced.
Tried factory settings and it did not work.
"Access violation at 005ED27E in Atlantis.exe" is the error message.
Couldn't shut down warning or Atlantis. Had to use task manager

Sorry you’re having so much trouble with Atlantis. This is highly unusual.

Could you please tell us which system your Atlantis is installed on? Is it 32 or 64 bit?

As I understand things, Atlantis freezes when you try to edit documents. If there aren’t specific privacy concerns, could you please send one or several of these problem documents to support@AtlantisWordProcessor.com? Which format are these documents? RTF? DOC? DOCX?

Is Atlantis also freezing when you create a new document (“Ctrl+N”), and start typing/pasting in it?

Could you also please send your current configuration to the same address (“Tools | Options… > Save To File…”)?
