I'm using Atlantis to make a kindle ebook, and so far I'm way happy with it, I've tried Quark and InDesign and in the end... Atlantis beat them. lol
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to set the first page when you open the book on Kindle to be the cover image rather than a text page, but I can't figure out how to do it, anyone here know how?
Set start page?
Cover images are stored within Kindle eBooks separately from the eBook text. So you cannot make the cover image the first page in your Kindle eBook because the cover image gets excluded from the eBook text flow by kindlegen.
As a workaround, you could put a second copy of the cover image at the beginning of your document. Then insert the "start" bookmark before the second copy of the cover image (you can find more details here).
Please see attached document file. Try converting it to Kindle.
