set [Page width zoom] factor view mode for all new documents

Post by Leopoldus »

Is there any option to open a new document in other zoom (and possibly view mode) than the default zoom 100% Print Layout?

I always use Print Layout with zooming [Page width], so I need every time (!!!!) to begin my work with a new document from manually changing the current zoom factor.

Thanks!

By “a new document”, I assume that you mean a document created through “Ctrl+N” or the corresponding toolbar button.

Here is how to proceed.

1. Click “File | Document Templates…”
2. In the “Choose Document Template” dialog, select the “Normal.rtf” file, and open it in Atlantis.
3. For the “Normal.rtf” document, select the 100% zoom factor.
4. Press “Ctrl+S” to save your changes.
5. Press “Ctrl+W” to close the template.

From then on, any new document that you create through “Ctrl+N” will have a 100% zoom factor until you change it.

HTH.
Cheers,
