Paste as Environment
Paste as Environment
Can somebody explain what this function means? I am writing a german introduction to the most beloved and useful functions of my favourite word processor and placed a pic to the text. In the menu there are all the possibilities I have even used. And that one I do not understand.
When the clipboard text is accompanied with the formatting information, Atlantis not only pastes the plain text from the clipboard but the formatting is pasted too (ie the pasted text looks in the same way as it looked in the source document). Sometimes you might wish to paste the clipboard text without formatting. You could use the “Edit | Paste as environment” command for this. In this case the pasted text is formatted in the same way as the document text at the current cursor position.
