AutoFormatting

Is there any thought to adding an AutoFormat feature like in Word where...

*Bold*
_Italic_
* Bulleted List
---- Line

Etc. ?

"AutoFormat" is implemented as a part of the Atlantis AutoCorrect (Tools | AutoCorrect Options...). Atlantis offers most options available under the "AutoFormat" feature of MS Word. But Atlantis does not support the "Replace *Bold* and _italic_ with real formatting" option. I am not sure that many users require it. It is much easier to press Ctrl+B or Ctrl+I than insert special words then replace them with formatting.

My reason may be a little obscure, but I like this feature in Word since I can create text in the Memo application on my Palm HandHeld, copy it in, then with a single button get real formatting.
