Middle page alignment

Post by Eduardo »

Hi there,

I'm producing an ebook and trying to put the title in the middle of the page, centered, but I can't seem to find the command to do it. I don't want to resort on pressing enter in order to position the line where I need it to be. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You can create a new picture file in any graphic editor (MS Paint, etc), and include your book title in that picture. Then insert that file to your source document through the "Insert | Picture..." command of Atlantis. Double-click the picture in Atlantis, and check the "Zoom to fit page" box, then click OK.

You can find a sample document file here (the "title picture" is on page #2).

Thanks very much for your prompt reply. I'll follow the suggestion. Since this is a very useful feature, would that be possible to include it in the near future?

Regards.

Sorry, but you cannot have "vertically centered" text in an Atlantis document. "Vertically centered" paragraphs are also hardly possible in XHTML/EPUB (a trick with tables would possibly work in some eReaders).
