Odd backup behaviour

Post by MyLittleAmunRa »

I've noticed a few times Atlantis goes into a backup frenzy. It will just sit there saving out backup file after backup file. Atlantis will do this until either I hit CTRL+S (in which case the backups will stop for a minute or two but then resume) or until I delete the backup file itself.

What I've noticed about the backup file created in this way is that it has a timestamp in advance of the actual time on my clock. For example, if my clock says 17:50, the timestamp will say something like 18:30. All other dates on the backup file are correct - its just the time stamp that's incorrect. btw, I'm talking about both the timestamp recorded by Windows as the file's creation date, and the timestamp that gets included in the backup file's file name.

Did you (or any application in your Windows) change the system time?

No. I checked the clock to see if that was the cause, but it wasn't. The time on my clock was correct.
