I re-installed XP yesterday. I kept the .INI file from the old installation.
I put atlantis.ini in the new Atlantis directory, but it will not take. It seems I have to go through the long process of setting all my parameters anew!
Is there a way ?
Where to Put INI File ?

I have now !Robert wrote:What do you mean by “it will not take”? Have you tried directing Atlantis to your INI file using “Tools | Options… > General tab > Load from File… button”?
Thank you. I imagined that Atlantis would have found it on its own.

Hi Cheemag,
When it is installed on a hard drive and launched from it, Atlantis uses the configuration parameters that it stores in the Windows registry.
If you want to use a specific INI file, you have to direct Atlantis to it. This can be done in two different ways:
1. Through the “Load from File…” button on the “General” tab of the Atlantis global options (“Tools | Options…”)
2. Launching Atlantis with the “-lsi” parameter. Something like "C:\Program Files\Atlantis\Atlantis.exe" -lsi. Note that “Atlantis.ini” must be available in the home directory of Atlantis.
Please have a look at the help on the Atlantis Command-line Parameters.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert
