Current state?

Hi there,
Let me say upfront that Atlantis is the program that I feel most comfortable with when I am writing, and I have recommended it to lots of my friends.

However, over the last year or so I sense that the joy has gone from the program or maybe the developers. I hope I am wrong but this note is just a request to let us know what is happening.

Is Atlantis still being actively developed?
Can we get a idea of the priorities that are being worked on? I realise that exact timetables cannot be supplied, but it would be great to have an idea of what is in there.

For example graphics. Floating graphics have been "in the pipeline" for years and years now. Are you serious? What about an occasional line like "We are working on this but its really being a bugger to get working properly" etc. Or What about Linked graphics? This is a godsend for graphics intensive writers nowadays. Word has had it for years but nary a word about whether it might be on the horizons in Atlantis.

This is not a wishlist. It is a plea for a bit more information from someone who is really interested. I am sure there must be others who would like to know as well.

The last blog entry I can find was April 22nd 2011. Am I missing something here? The blog would seem an excellant place to put notes on this sort of topic but it seems to be updated very infrequently.

OK. That's it. This is not a rant, just a plea.

You are right, there have been no new blog posts for quite long. But we should have some news to share soon.
