Centering small image or paragraph VERTICALLY for EPUB

Let's say I have a dedication for a book that is separated from other content by page breaks. This dedication may be a small image or a short paragraph.

I wish to center it on the page VERTICALLY. What is the best approach for doing this? I see possible approaches: One is two enter blank paragraphs or line breaks to move the content down the page or the other is create a section break before and after the dedication and then with the page properties alter the margins.

You could try assigning an appropriate “Spacing Before” value to the target paragraph (“Format | Paragraph…” dialog).
