One of my favourite ideas when it comes to computing is portable apps – a menu with launchers for programs I can run from a USB memory stick on any computer I can log on to, and which leaves no personal traces behind. And yes, there is a portable version of Atlantis which I can run from the very same menu.
My favourite source for these apps is http://portableapps.com/ – a very decent site with deep respect for things like copyright. Unfortunately there is a Lord Voldemort in this world, «The site that must not be mentioned»: <link removed> This site has no respect for things like copyright and intellectual property. They even have their own version of «Atlantis portable» which you can download and install - and when you try to enter a registration code you are told that the program is already registered.
What do you think of this? «Illegal» and «Theft» are the first two words I can think of. Do you want to do anything about it? Is there anything you can do?
Stop thief!
!!!
Wow! You did! Some days later I checked, and it was gone. But now it is back! See
