Using the "Table of content" in PDF format.

Hi Again. So I am "on my way" with Atlantis, writing on my first "trial" book. Ewerything works fine so far. exept one question.

In my "Micro store widget" , it is only possible to sell e books in PDF format. Is it possible to use the "Table of content" in this format in this way ( in PDF)? :
When the reader "tuch" the chapter that he wants to read in table of content, it automaticly take him to the correct chapter in the book.
If so, how is it done?

Hi Seasong,
As far as we are aware, none of the free “PDF printer drivers” currently available will allow you to save the TOC hyperlinks to the PDF output. This is an “advanced feature” only available in some of the paying PDF converters.

Atlantis does not have its built-in PDF generator. PDFs can be created in Atlantis if you "print" a document in Atlantis through a "PDF printer". Regrettably there is no way to instruct a PDF printer to create a table of contents (called "bookmarks" in PDF).

There are tools – both free and paid – that can be used to add bookmarks to an existing PDF. You can find some hints on this page.

Thanks to both of you. OK. Now I know, and try to do the best with what I have. because it was how to save TOC hyperlinkd to the PDF output that was important, so that the reader could use them if he load down the book.
