Hi, I've been using Atlantis since 2000, and I love it. But it doesn't seem to recognize my new printer. Which is odd because my other programs are fine with it.
When I click "print" I get the "cachunk" sound and a message that says "Cannot initiate printer". What the hey? It's already initiated and waiting. I tried to find a place in Atlantis to tell it that the new one was the default but couldn't find that either.
I had to copy my document to WordPad and finally got it to print although the sequence was weird, but I really need to print out of Atlantis.

Printer problem
The error message reads as "Cannot initialize printer".
First, please make sure that your version of Atlantis is up-to-date. Pre-1.6.4 versions of Atlantis have a problem related to caching last used print settings on some systems. So please choose the "Help | Check for Updates..." menu command of Atlantis, and upgrade if suggested.
If the problem persists, please make sure that you select the proper printer device in topmost box of the "File | Print..." dialog.
Please also try running Atlantis with "factory settings", and printing your document. You can find step-by-step instructions here:
