Page Numbering
Page Numbering
The manuscript has one language on the left page and English on the right page. I am only dealing with the English and so would need to number my pages every other number starting with page 3. How would I do this please? TIA.
Please see the attached document. Is this what you meant?

Page Numbering
Nearly. I would not have the other language visible, so would just need to show the all the pages to be numbered 3, 5, 7, 9, etc. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I notice when replying to your post, it seems necessary to input a subject. Is that correct?

You can leave even-numbered pages (#4, #6, #8, etc) blank. But if you want to have number "5" in the header of page #4, number "7" in the header of page #5, number "9" in the header of page #6, and so on, Atlantis could not automatically number pages in this way. The only solution is to turn each document page (#3+) into a separate section with its own header/footer. Please see attached document.

That is the way I want it to look. I had been using page breaks at the end of the text to keep the line numbers equivalent, so now I will try using the section break. Thank you for helping. It would not work if you just insert more section breaks to the document. You would also have to unlink the header of a newly created section from the previous section by unchecking the "Same as previous"
button on the "Header and Footer" toolbar (this context toolbar displays when you open a header or footer for editing). After this you would also have to adjust the manual page number in the header of the last section.

I will just have to do it as I have been doing, except not numbering the pages at all, then finish by inserting the page numbers manually.
Thanks anyway Admin.
