atlantis locks up

Hi -- Didn't see anything about this on the forum, perhaps I missed it. Atlantis has begun acting strangely. After starting the program, which appears to come up normally, in about 5 seconds it will stop functioning. It doesn't matter if you type or not; does the same thing. The insertion point stops and is unresponsive. The "busy" mouse pointer runs. Process cpu goes to 50%. ALT-F4 stops the program which is at this point "not responding". This bad behavior is 100% reliably repeatable.

Haven't changed a thing and haven't a clue as to what's going on and why it started. Nothing else is acting up.

Version is 1.6.4.0, running on xp sp2

Please update your copy of Atlantis (just choose the "Help | Check for Updates..." menu command of Atlantis, and follow the onscreen instructions).

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, Atlantis doesn't stay up long enough for me to perform an update. I will uninstall, download the latest, and install that.

The reinstall worked, Atlantis is back to normal
