1) I've a large document split into chapters. I want each chapter to fall on an odd-numbered page. As it is now, as I edit I am manually adding or subtracting filler pages to make this happen. I'm thinking there's an easier way?
2) Is there a way to include something like sticky-notes in my document - when something comes to mind about a particular spot I can open a "stick-note" and attach it at that spot? These would not be included in the main document so wouldn't add to page count/word count/formatting.
How do I do?
1) If you want the chapters to start on odd-numbered pages, just insert an "Odd page" section break before the first paragraph of each chapter (excluding the first chapter, of course).
Click at the end of Chapter #1, and choose the "Insert | Break | Section Break | Odd Page" menu command. You will get a new blank paragraph at the top of Chapter #2. Press Del to delete this blank paragraph.
Then click at the end of Chapter #2, insert a section break, and remove a blank paragraph.
And so on.
Note that you can view section breaks in your document if you enable the "View | Special Symbols" menu command.

2) The present version of Atlantis does not have a feature that you call "sticky notes".
I can suggest the following workarounds. But I am not sure that they will be OK with you.
First, if your notes are very short (not longer than 40 characters), you can add bookmarks to the desired locations of your document. Bookmark names could be your notes. You could view all the bookmarks in the Bookmarks panel of the Atlantis Control Board. To add a bookmark to the current location in the active document, press Shift+Alt+B, type the bookmark name (your note), and press Enter.
Another solution is to format text fragments (note anchors) as hyperlinks. Let's suppose that you want to associate a note with a word in your document. Double-click that word to select it, then choose the "Insert | Hyperlink" menu command. Type your note in the "Enter the name ..." box (it automatically gets the input focus when you open the "Insert Hyperlink" window of Atlantis), and press Enter. Placing the mouse pointer over such hyperlinks will display your notes as popup hints.

Thanks very much. I think the first method is closer to what I need. I have found that going through this document I might suddenly want to include an extra detail at a specific point but not want to have to write it in at that moment. A quick note like "mention morning bell" or something to that effect. The page on the screen is 75% and there is a lot of gray area both left and right. I was hoping to utilize that area for the notes.admin wrote:2) The present version of Atlantis does not have a feature that you call "sticky notes".

I will experiment with the methods you suggested and see how it goes. Thank you again!
Excellent. Thank you very much. I've got all my section breaks in place now.admin wrote:1) If you want the chapters to start on odd-numbered pages, just insert an "Odd page" section break before the first paragraph of each chapter (excluding the first chapter, of course).
