I cannot reproduce this error. Maybe your instructions are not specific enough.

What do you mean by "clicking on preview mode" (step 1 of your instructions)? Do you click the "File | Preview" menu command? Or click the corresponding toolbar button?

What do you mean by "then full screen" (step 2 of your instructions)? Do you mean that you click the "View | Full Screen" menu command? Or press the F9 hot key?

In any case, is this problem specific to some of your documents, or it can be reproduced on any document?

Could you please make screen captures of the Atlantis window:

a) before "clicking on preview mode",
b) after "clicking on preview mode",
c) after switching to the Full Screen mode,
d) after pressing F9 (the last step of your instructions),

and email them to support@AtlantisWordProcessor.com?

If you do not know how to make screen captures of the Atlantis window, you can find instructions here:

Thanks for the screen captures.

Can you reproduce this error on any document in Atlantis?

Is your copy of Atlantis up-to-date? Please choose the "Help | Check for Updates..." menu command of Atlantis. Does it say that there is a newer version?

Please choose the "Tools | Options..." menu command of Atlantis, click the "Save to File..." button to save your current Atlantis settings to an INI file. Please email this INI file to support@AtlantisWordProcessor.com.

Thanks for the INI file. This bug will be fixed in any next release of Atlantis.

Please download the following ZIP file:

{This file is not available for download anymore.
The functionality mentioned above is available in the standard version of Atlantis.}

and unpack the contained Atlantis.exe to the home folder of Atlantis on your hard disk (by default, to "C:\Program Files\Atlantis\"). This will fix the bug in your copy of Atlantis.

I spoke too soon. The update removed the favourite folder from Atlantis home folder,(Screen capture above) the other problem worked ok. But then when trying to open Atlantis Windows (vista home premium) keeps on asking for permission to open Atlantis.Ive unchecked the box not to show again but still keeps asking for permission, I presume this is a windows issue ?
Thanks.

The patched executable of Atlantis did nothing to your Favorites folder as well as Atlantis never displays messages like this. Atlantis never changes file permissions. This problem must have a different explanation.

Possibly the problem is linked to your Windows account. But it is hard to say what is wrong without having more details. Have you changed your system/account settings in any way? As I understand, you were able to run the patched Atlantis (until today).

hi Admin, I think you must be right, it has to be a windows problem, I have not changed any settings. So I'm looking for an explanation. I was most the night uninstalling and installing Atlantis to see how this could be fixed. Thanks
Peter.
