I plugged my USB with Atlantis 1.6 on it into a computer that had Atlantis 1.1 on it. When I used the USB Atlantis spell-check it came up with a dictionary error. Opened the HDD Atlantis and had problems as well. These were exactly the problems encountered when I once tried loading both a new and an old version of Atlantis on the same HDD. I reformatted both the HDD and the USB then reloaded the Atlantis programs and got exactly the same problem.
Is there a workaround to get away from this interaction? Would I have the same problem if I used the U3 version?
Thanks

USB / HDD spell-check interaction
To answer half the question.
There does not appear to be any interaction when using the Atlantis U3 program
One of possible explanations of this problem is that the settings of your portable non-U3-smart version of Atlantis Word Processor include hard-coded paths to the spellcheckers. The fault of Atlantis here is that it does not automatically correct such paths. This will be fixed. A fix will be included in any next version of Atlantis. The next minor release of Atlantis (version 1.6.4) will be available for betatesting in the next few days. We apologize for the inconveniences. Thanks for reporting this problem.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Found I could work around it simply by going into tools and reloading the location. This is a once in a great while need so it was not a major problem. Glad to see it will be corrected though.
