New update of Atlantis

Post by Eduardo »

The update of Atlantis was indeed the best surprise of today. Thank you very much for these magnificent features to an already superb word processor.

I've tried it extensively without any problems. It works flawlessly. The only recommendation I make in relation to the feature "overused words" is to have a icon instead of text. Or both.

Thanks again for your efforts and tremendous work.

Eduardo

Creating an intuitive self-explanatory icon for the "Overused words" feature would not be simple. I personally have no idea what should be displayed on that icon.

Yep, it's a tricky problem and if I think of anything suitable...

But how about some generic icons that a user can choose to represent any function currently without a button? Even '1', '2', '3' etc would be better than nothing.

Actually, I drew some icons for use with some PIM software I use. If any of them are of use to you for Atlantis, you're welcome to use them.

[edit] The red warning triangle with the exclamation mark might be good for 'overused words' perhaps?

Thanks for your suggestions. But this command needs an icon that is more consistent with the icons of the existing proofing commands.

OK, the "Overused Words" command will have an icon:

It will be included in any next build (update) of this beta version of Atlantis. The text button of the "Overused Words" command on your toolbars in Atlantis will be automatically replaced with its graphic version.
