I have seen in the help how to create a Table of Contents at the front of the file, but I want to create an index at the back of the document. Is there an easy way to do this (could I select each word I want to be put in the index, and the word and page number automatically be put in the index in the back)?
Or, alternatively, is there any other program that I could get that would work with Atlantis rtf files to create the index?
The document may have endnotes or footnotes, and I realize that may complicate the process (since Atlantis doesn't like to put anything after the endnotes) or force me to create the index in a separate document.
Creating an index
The problem is not that you want to insert something after the endnotes. The problem is that the present version of Atlantis Word Processor does not have the Index feature. This feature is on our to-do list.
The only way to have an index with proper page numbers is to open your document in a word processor that offers the Index feature, and use this feature to build the index. Of course, if you are not prepared to wait for this feature to be added to Atlantis Word Processor.
