Is it possible to sort the address book by zip code? Can one merge several different address books together?

If Atlantis is not able to do these two things, can anyone recommend an address book program that they like? I've been given the task to figure out how to upgrade a local organization's mailing procedures. I'm looking at Abi-Word and Open Office Calc as other options, but would like recommendations for other programs.

If I understand you correctly, you do not mean (proprietary) address books of Atlantis Word Processor.
Address books of Atlantis are ordinary plain text files. Addresses within these files can be easily reordered in any plain text editor (including Atlantis itself). Sorry, but Atlantis Word Processor cannot sort address books of other applications.
