Ghost tabs

Post by Redrover »

Occasionally, when I start Atlantis, the tabs are not shown, even though multiple files are loaded. Hovering the cursor where the tabs should appear pops up a tooltip showing the filename. It happened several times today and required a Windows restart to bring the tabs back. Hardly fatal but it is annoying.

Is this a known issue?

Best regards,
Paul

Under some Windows Theme settings on PCs with some video cards, some buttons in Atlantis (including the Document Bar buttons) might display incorrectly. We have not identified the source of these visual flaws yet. Normally you would get the proper display by switching to one of the standard Windows themes, or by restarting Windows. We apologize for the inconveniences.

Ok, thank you. I'll continue to restart Windows when it happens.

FYI: as a datapoint for you I use Windows Classic Folders (in XP Pro) and an Nvidia 5400 card (I like antiques).

Hi RedRover,
In most cases, it is enough and quicker to just log off Windows, then back on. No need to go the whole hog and reboot.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Robert

The next release of Atlantis Word Processor will include a solution to this problem.
