In this way, files I have worked on over a period of a couple of days are displayed at the top of the list. When opening files one has the option of clicking on the View Menu and choosing to display by Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List or Details.
Is it possible that if one chooses Details and sorts by most recent down that Atlantis would keep that as the default display until changed?
Also handy in deleting older files which have served their purpose and/or have been backed up suitably.
Hi,
The free “FlashFolder” utility has a “Remember view mode” option. This option is off by default. But if you activate it, Atlantis will remember the folder view that you last used in its “File | Open…” dialog. In other words, if you open the Atlantis “File | Open…” dialog after installing “FlashFolder”, then choose the “Details” view, the “Details” view will automatically be activated when you reopen the same “File | Open…” dialog.
Here is from
http://zett42.de/flashfolder/?page_id=3:
“FlashFolder enhances the file dialogs by providing the following functionality:
menu of recently used folders
editable menu of favorite folders
enlarges the common file dialogs to a configurable size (even non-resizable file dialogs of many programs)
automatically positions the dialogs at the center of the main program window or at the center of the screen
enlarges the directory- and file type drop-down fields so less scrolling is needed for them
persistent view mode for open/save dialog - e. g. if you select details view, it will be activated again the next time you open an open/save dialog
show the full path of the folder who’s content is currently displayed
quickly view “all files” (set *.* filter)
Total Commander® directory menu can be displayed instead of FlashFolders own favorites
editable Hotkeys for FlashFolder’s main functions.”
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Robert
