Document Properties dialogue on saving

I'm finding the document properties dialogue appearing when I first save a document really annoying as I never use it - there doesn't seem to be any way to turn this off.

You have enabled this yourself. Choose "Tools | Options...", the "General" tab, uncheck the "Offer document properties on saving".

Oop sorry!! Looked in the options as well but didn't see it - thought it was a new feature. Apologies.
