New document at startup settings?

How do I set page margins, etc. for a "new document at startup" when that option is selected in Tool/Options? Or can I select a Template to open automatically at startup?

Hi,
Click “File | Document Templates…”
Open the “Normal.rtf” template.
Change its settings to requirements.
Save and close the template.
