Re-size picture

Post by medion »

It would be very useful to be able to resize an immage in a document by using hold down right mouse button and scroll with middle mouse wheel. At the moment i use preview mode. I have looked in the help menu but have not found anything like this.

Hi,
You actually can resize pictures with the mouse. Here are the steps:

1. Left-click the picture.
The picture will display with 4 corner and 4 edge handles.
2. Place your mouse over any of the handles until the pointer changes into a double-pointed arrow.
3. Click and drag the mouse to resize.

Grab the left or right edge handle to resize horizontally.
Grab the top or bottom edge handle to resize vertically.
Grab any of the 4 corner handles to resize the picture and keep the same length-width ratio.

You can also right-click the picture and use the Picture resizing dialog. Please, have a look at the Atlantis help ("Editing Documents" > "Pictures" > "Resizing Pictures"), or follow this link to the online help:

Cheers,
Robert
