Email Attachment

I do not like sending or receiving attachments, but if I must using Atlantis I was wondering how does the receiver view it. I have sent one to myself and it opens using Atlantis which apart from notepad and Yeahwrite are the only word processors now on my computer.What I am asking is does the attachment open in the word processor on the others computer or do they have to have Atlantis installed?

This attachment will be opened with each wordprocessor the rtf-format is detached to. E. g. if the recipient has installed Word 97 it will be opened with Word, if StarWriter, ... Do you remember the question while installing Atlantis if you want rtf and cod-files to be handled by Atlantis?
