Document management features

Since Atlantis already provides for the user to enter a number of items in Document Properties - Title, Subject, Author, Keywords, Comments - it would probably be a simple matter to provide in the Open Document window an option to display those elements in a grid similar to the Details option under Win Explorer.

Right now the user can enter these parameters but Atlantis doesn't provide any way to make them useful.

Atlantis could not display any additional information in the main (left hand) pane of the "Open Document" dialog because this pane is Windows Explorer. Atlantis could not add new View modes to Windows Explorer.

Possibly a future version of Atlantis will allow to search for documents with requires properties (author name, title, keywords, etc).

Atlantis 1.6 will have the special view mode in the "Open Document" dialog. It will allow to view the document properties.

Would it be possible to provide an option to have the document properties exported from Atlantis to the Explorer-properties of the file or files in question?

Atlantis does not integrate its "document properties" with the Properties dialog of Windows Explorer because the major document formats supported by Atlantis are not its proprietary document formats.

By the way, did you know that you can view the properties of the active document in Atlantis through the "File | Properties..." menu command? There you could copy the desired component of the document properties to the clipboard.
