toolbar preference settings

Post by zippy »

I used to be able to fix up the toolbar just like I want it and save that file to the hard drive. Then if I had to reformat the hard drive and re-install, I could just call up that old preference and insert it into my toolbar. Is this feature still available?
Thanks, zippy

Atlantis 1.5.4 (and higher) does not store the toolbar settings in ATS files. The toolbar settings are stored in the Windows Registry instead. You can save all your Atlantis settings (including the toolbar settings) to an INI file (use the “Tools | Options… > Load from File…” button). The “Load from File…” button of the “Tools | Options…” dialog can be used to reload settings from such an INI file.

You can still load your toolbar settings from an ATS file in the latest version of Atlantis. Close Atlantis, and place your ATS file to the home folder of Atlantis (by default, to “C:\Program Files\Atlantis”). The filename of the ATS file must be “Atlantis.ats”. Then launch Atlantis. It would load the toolbar settings from the “Atlantis.ats”. The “Atlantis.ats” will be automatically deleted after that.
