I know, that it is possible to update the table of contents. But I think it to be rather complicated. That is the reason I would like to attribute a hotkey to it, but can't find the possibility.
If the only way is the complicated one, would you please be so kind to make it possible in the next update (or so) to attribute a hotkey?
Thanks a lot in advance.
A very contented A-user.

If you want to update page numbers in your table of contents, you can press Ctrl+F2 twice (the default hot key of the "File | Preview" mode). Note that fields are automatically updated by the "File | Preview" mode when the "Tools | Options... > General > Update fields on print" option is on.
If you want to rebuild the table of contents entirely (if some headings in your document were modified, removed, or added), you should right-click your table of contents, then choose "Table of Contents | Update Entire Table" command.
