Hello,
I found a reference to my question in a post from several years ago, but in case things have changed..........
Is there a way to reformat a text such that I could make all the numbers, or a particular word or character in a text bold, or underline it, etc. by using Replace (Ctrl H) function? Having to go through a lengthy text and replace each individual occurance of a character, or characters, manually is a very time consuming process.
Thanks!

A Formatting/Replace (Ctrl-H) Question
Hard work often pays off after time, but laziness always pays off right now.

Use Ctrl+F, enter your search string, then click "Find and Select All".
When all occurrences are selected, you can format them all together in any way you like (bold, underline, etc).

So when I want to reformat all numbers, all I have to do is
Use Ctrl+F, enter «1», then click "Find and Select All" and reformat the 1's
Use Ctrl+F, enter «2», then click "Find and Select All" and reformat the 2's
Use Ctrl+F, enter «3», then click "Find and Select All" and reformat the 3's
and so on.
Is there a better way to do it - or can you make a better way?

You have a small button to the right of the "Find" box (see illustration below). Click that button and choose "Any digit". Then press "Find and Select All".
