Pegasus mail

I would like to configure Pegasus to be used with Atlantis, (but... and this is a very big but) first is a none techie able to do it and if so in very easy basic language how? Many thanks.

Atlantis is “email-client-indifferent” application.<br><br>Atlantis uses so called “Simple MAPI” interface to communicate with the default email client. Atlantis could be used with nearly any email client supporting “Simple MAPI”.<br><br>To use your email client with Atlantis,<br><br>a) your email client should support “Simple MAPI” (should be “Simple MAPI”-compliant),<br>b) your email client should be configured/specified as the default “Simple MAPI”-client.<br><br>If your email client does not support “Simple MAPI”, I afraid that you could not use it with Atlantis. I personally do not use Pegasus. But as I know it does not support “Simple MAPI”. Anyway you could contact its authors for more information.<br><br>The best “Simple MAPI” client I know is Microsoft Outlook (Express).

1953, it could scarcely be easier. If you are running &nbsp;Pegasus 3.12 &nbsp;just run the program wpmmapi.exe, and select "Simple MAPI", and it will install the necessary MAPI support.

Max is it the same for version 4, or is 3.12 better?

I use 4.01, and Atlantis "Send by Email" works just fine, so Simple MAPI must be configured in my Pegasus. Whether it is automatic, or was the result of a choice I made during setup, I can't remember. :-[<br>I shall ask around and get back to you on that one.
