Atlantis hangs up

Hello. There is one problem. When I type something with sound support, my system hangs up very often. I tryed to disable spell-cheking, type sounds- no any results. It happens when I type both English or Russian. It happens even on trial period. My system is XP ( english version) Athlon 1,8 processor, 256 RAM, integrated soundcard( but I dont think it matters). I dont want to use MS Word. I hate it. So what to do with Atlantis? Thanx for your attention
