What are these little lines?
When I have Atlantis open there are two cursors. The blinking cursor at the top which indicates where the text you type goes. But there is another I cursor. Depending on where I move this I cursor I will see 4 small lines either to the right of it or below it. What are they and why are they there?
The blinking cursor is the caret. The I-beam cursor with horizontal lines is the Click & Type mouse pointer. It means that you can double-click the location under this mouse pointer to start typing text at that location (the blinking caret would appear at that location). You can disable the Click & Type feature by unchecking the "Tools | Options... > Edit > Click & Type" box.
