Copying and pasting text
If I collect RTF text with active links in Atlantis, then paste to another program (in this case GMail), the text when received is modified, adding an extra hard return (linefeed) before each hyperlink. That seems to be a bug with Atlantis; it does not happen with other RTF-enabled programs.
Atlantis codes RTF data for the clipboard according to the Microsoft RTF Specifications. If some clipboard data created by Atlantis does not get pasted with its original formatting, the problem is not how Atlantis codes the RTF data but how the target software pastes RTF data.
Note that some email clients might have difficulties converting the Windows clipboard RTF data to HTML coding. In such cases, use this workaround:
1. Copy the target text.
2. Paste it into a new Atlantis document using the “Edit | Paste Special… > Plain text” command.
3. Copy the newly-pasted text.
4. Paste these new clipboard contents into your email client message window. The pasted text will have no special formatting, hence no wrong formatting.
Also note that Atlantis currently does not support placing HTML data onto the Windows clipboard. Placing HTML data directly onto the Windows clipboard will be included in a future version of Atlantis.
