From Atlantis to Word XP - formatting issue

Post by Eduardo »

I write mostly with Atlantis. I appreciate its speed and stability. Power type, I confess, is a major benefit to my daily writing.
Because of my publishers and newspapers, the default file format that I'm using is MS Word 97/2000/XP. My default document settings are as follow:

-Language: Portuguese.PT
-Times New Roman 12 points
-Alignment: Justified
-First Line Indent: 0.2
Line Spacing: Multiple: 1.3
Outline Level: Body text
Indents:
Spacing:
Before: 5 points

Unlike the previous version of Atlantis, my files don’t seem to preserve my chosen formatting attributes with the last paragraph of the text when I open it with Word XP. Strangely enough, this behaviour is only happening with my novel chapters. Is anybody having the same problem? Is this a bug?

Could you send your document to betatesting@AtlantisWordProcessor.com ? I mean your Atlantis document that does not display properly in MS Word.

Thanks for your document. Yes, there is a minor compatibility problem in cases when a document contains headers or footers. But this applies not only to the current beta but also to Atlantis Ocean Mind 1.5.0 (and higher). The new build of Atlantis includes a fix. Just resave your document with this new build. Thanks.

Thanks very much for taking the time to resolve this issue. I cannot express in words how much I'm impressed with your team and dedication to this program. Atlantis is surely an example of professionalism rare to find these days.

With gratitude,

Eduardo
