To the Atlantis Team:

:D Nice job on the latest version. Beta 1.5.4.7a8 solved the icon problems on my laptop - thanks.

I have been using the new "Control Board" in "Bookmarks" mode - a great improvement. But I notice at the bottom between the "Rename Bookmarks" button and the "Bookmarks Hyperlink" button is the "Delete Bookmarks" button - an easy button to accidentally click on. Is is possible to add a confirmation dialog box to this delete button??? At present, it just deletes a bookmark without asking - which makes it easy to accidentally delete a bookmark without even noticing.

The "Picture Placeholder" option also helps to speed things up. Is it possible to create a toolbar button or keyboard shortcut to toggle this option on and off without having to go into the "Options" dialog??? The only reason I'm asking is if I have the placeholder option set to hide the pictures in edit mode with the "Control Board" open and should want to see my picture, I can switch to Print Preview - but the "Control Board" is not available in Print Preview, so I need to switch back out of Print Preview to get the "Control Board" back. If I could toggle the pictures on or off without having to go to Print Preview or the Options dialog would makes things a little easier.

The Power Typing features works great and really speeds things along.

Keep up the good work and thanks for the new improvements...

The Control Board panels delete their objects without a confirmation. Exception is the two last panels - Format Palette and Clip Library - because you could not use Undo to cancel changes. The Styles panel is also exception because it might ask to delete the selected style either on its own, or with the child styles (if any). So if you accidentally deleted a bookmark, just click Undo.

If you are familiar with the “Rename bookmark” and “Format document selection as hyperlink” commands of the Bookmarks panels of the Control Board, it is hard not to notice that you clicked a wrong button. The “Rename bookmark” command displays a dialog. The “Format document selection as hyperlink” applies formatting to the selection, then removes the selection. When the document contains no selection, this command also displays a message dialog. This is also easily noticeable. At the same time, when you have to delete multiple bookmarks, confirmation dialogs might be quite annoying.

About the “Picture placeholders”. There are plenty of check boxes in the “Tools | Options” dialog. Each of them could not have a separate toolbar button as well as it is arguable whether this would make sense from a practical point of view. Also I do not understand how a separate toolbar button or hot key for the “Picture placeholders” option could make things easier. The “Print preview” also has a separate toolbar button and a hot key. You can simply press Ctrl+F2 when you want to see your pictures, then press Ctrl+F2 to revert to the normal view mode.

Anyway thanks for your ideas.
