1) In version 1547 the WordCount tool gives me wrong results. Is it a bug or something else?
2) The greek spellchecking dictionary is not supported any more? What that means for the PowerType tool in greek?
Thank you in advance...
WordCount and PowerType in greek
Could you please be more specific regarding WordCount? What is wrong?
The problem is that the Greek dictionary that we have is of a very poor quality. Sorry but currently the Greek spellchecker is not available for the new version of Atlantis. PowerType requires the spellchecker for the corresponding language.

About the WordCount:
Any text, either in english or in greek, is counted less than it is in reality. A piece of text of about 80 words is counted by Atlantis as having 60 words, another one having 550 words is counted by atlantis 1547 as having 370, and so on... In the previous version of Atlantis there wasn't such a problem. I'm sure, as I use this tool all the time (I'm journalist working with specific numbers of words for any article...).
About the PowerType:
Is it possible to use the spellchecking engine without the greek dictionary, so that I can have the PowerType tool also?
Thank you anyway

You are right. The "Word Count" does not report "words" properly if the document contains brackets and some other punctuation signs. The new build includes a fix. Thanks for reporting this.
Power Type cannot work if you do not have the spellchecker for your language. It is possible to have a fake spellchecker in Atlantis for any language. But Power Type still could not collect your words automatically because it would not know which words are correct (it cannot collect garbage).
You can create a plain text file “Greek.asc” under the “C:\Program Files\Atlantis\Spellcheck” folder, and include the following two lines in it:
[General]
Language=1032
Then open the “Tools | Options > Spellcheck > Spellcheckers & Dictionaries…” dialog in Atlantis, click the topmost “Add..” button to add your Greek.asc to the list of installed spellcheckers. This would not mean that Atlantis could spellcheck Greek texts (unless you create a custom dictionary for this spellchecker, and add all the Greek words you use to that dictionary). But this would allow you to add words through the “Tools | Power Type…” dialog of Atlantis. If you have a collection of longer words you want be suggested by the Power Type, you could add them manually through the “Tools | Power Type…” dialog.
Regrettably it is the best what can be done yet.
