I would like to insert a table with 4 columns in a normal text (with 1 column).
Any idea how to do?
What I tried:
- saved table as file and tried to insert the file in the text. Result: All the text in 4 colums.
- copied the table (Ctrl-a) and tried to insert: same result.
And I found out: At THE place: I selected some (f.e. 5) lines, created 4 columns (format|colums), inserted my table IN a column of the original text. Et voilà.
Not easy. Is there a better way to Rome?

Re: tables
Greetings--
Atlantis has no support for tables yet. So you cannot insert a table into an Atlantis document.
What exactly do you mean by "4-column table"?
Cheers

table = text in columns
Hi Robert,
What I describe as table is, actually, text in columns. If you read ' 4-coumn table' as text-in-4-columns you get what I mean.
Vincent.

Re: Columns
Greetings–
I am not sure that I understand what exactly you are trying to achieve with what.
But if you want a pasted text to have any number of columns, the simplest is to paste your text, then to select it AS IS, and to (re)format it with the desired number of columns. There is a corresponding toolbar button with a convenient drop-down menu.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
