Greetings–
Your help file should display if you are running an up-to-date Windows system (from Windows 95 on).
Have you tried re-installing Atlantis using the full set-up file?

To create, edit, or delete Address Books in Atlantis, simply click Tools | Address Books… or the corresponding “Address Books” toolbar button.

Here are the steps to create a new Address Book:

1. Click Tools | Address Books…
2. Press the “New…” button.
3. Enter a name for your new Address Book (default is “My Address Book 1.txt”).
4. Click “Save” in the “Create New Address Book” dialog.
4. Select your new Address Book in the “Address Book” dialog and click the “Edit…” button.
5. Click “New…” in the “Edit Address Book” dialog.
6. Enter a mnemonic for the new address.
7. Use the “Address” box to enter the full address.

Note 1. Enter addresses as you would on a paper envelope. Create each new line by pressing the Enter key.

Note 2. A blank line is sometimes separating parts of a single German address. Such a blank line must be created with an additional “dummy” space character. So these blank lines must be created by pressing the Enter key (after the previous address line) + the space key + the Enter key again.

8. OK out of the “New Address” dialog.
9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 to add more addresses.
10. OK out of the “Edit Address Book” dialog.
11. Close the “Address Books” dialog.

Finally, note that you will be able to import addresses from CSV files (e.g. from the Outlook Express Address Book) in the next version of Atlantis.

Cheers
Robert
