Spell check doesn't have very good suggestions if any for

My spell check does not seem to have any good suggestions for correct spellings. It identifys the mizpelled words okay but the suggestions are not even close? :?
It didn't happen on my watch! That's my story and I'm siticking to it!

Greetings–
1. Are the underlined words marked with the proper language coding (have a look at the status bar)?
2. Click Tools | Options… > Spellcheck tab > Spellcheck Systems & Dictionaries… Are the appropriate “Spellcheck systems” installed?
